I Survived Edgemont

NATRC Ride at Oakridge

Contact Me

This is Amira and I at the roughest, toughest, rootinest, tootinest, NATRC sanctioned ride in all of region 5! We are about to vet in, before the ride as you can tell by her lovely, shiny coat, and perfectly combed mane and tail. Believe me, both of us looked quite wilted and in need of a bath after we finished THIS ride. It was rough. But Amira, who has never even seen a horseshoe in all of her 5 years, came in sound as could be....foot wise anyway. She did pop a splint with all the trotting on the hard surface road on the way in. She really wasn't in condition for this tough of a ride, but she did great! Next time, we'll walk in, or possibly don boots with pads for hard track. She wasn't the least bit sore anywhere on her body though. If you go to the stories and adventures page, you'll find the story of this particular ride in the story, "I Survived Edgemont, I think."
